Description The WindTech WSF-1 & WSF-2 12 x 12″ Windscreen Foam is a square foot of high-density Polyurethane SonicFoam used to isolate vibration and wind noise during film and TV production. These charcoal gray foam blocks serve as a versatile tool for custom and hidden microphone placement. They protect mics on bookshelves, behind the sun visor in cars, and in many other locations prone to unwanted rumble. Use them as blanket windscreens, with stage floor mics, and hold large condenser microphones in place when it’s impractical or visually distracting to use a shock mount or boom. Sound Isolation for Hidden Mics For live broadcast TV or field recording, Windscreen Foam provides exceptional shielding from wind and vibration. The raw material can also be shaped to secure large, delicate mics hidden on stage or inside set props.
